Holy Hotness!

The mornings have been coming earlier and earlier these last couple weeks! 5am starts to beat the heat. Have seen some great sunrises, criminal behaviours, and have had the roads/trails to myself. I'm ready for A day of rain-just one!

195 days, 10 hours to go!

Only 195 days to go. The training is going great. Multiple daily workouts and the weekend long runs are getting longer! Two hour road bike session tomorrow morning. I'm still new to the road bike, its so much different from my Mtn. bike. At least I have padded bike shorts now! Phew. Next week I'm down to only one day of rest. Thursday I can rest. Thursday here I come!

Today I climbed peak 1&2 of the Chief in 1hr 05!
The rest of the day has been spent trying to organize this blog! Not as easy as I had thought-ha!

A week and a bit in

Well I'm over a week into my training. So far, single, double, and triple daily workouts!
Chief climbs, stair repeats, road biking (new sport for me), trail runs, road runs, and strength training! Fitting workouts into the day before work, and after work hasn't been a problem...yet :)
Oh and the best part-eating so many yummy foods!
Not so best part-my grocery bills!
